Pituitary
The endodermal anterior lobe of the pituitary gland plays an important role in the production and regulation of a large number of hormones.
Themes
• Being too small to pick up a food chunk.
• Not being able to feed a child or the family.
CA phase
Increase in function. Enlargement of pituitary gland by cell increase.
Biological utility
• Increased production of growth hormones to grab the over-hanging food chunk. Result: growth increase, giant growth.
• Increase in prolactin production to better feed a child or partner. Result: increase in milk production

PCL phase
Normalization of function. Degradation of cells by fungi or TB bacteria, if present.
Symptoms
Possible fatigue and/or night sweats, normalization of growth and milk production.
Pendulous healing or many relapses: growth reduction, dwarfism (see also endoderm).
